Business gets messy. Good thing you've got your bestie.
MYBF is the operations team behind growing product brands. We run your back end like a COO would — and we either staff it ourselves or train your team to run it without us.
A normal Tuesday for our clients:
Who we work with
Small to mid-size product brands past the scrappy stage, where the volume is real and the process hasn't caught up yet.
- Founders who are still the bottleneck for every order, count, and vendor email
- Brands moving into retail, wholesale, or a second sales channel
- Teams that inherited an operation nobody documented
- Brands whose fulfillment partner keeps making errors nobody is catching
- Growing teams that need to hire, but have nothing to train people on
- Anyone who has said "it's fine, I'll just do it myself" this week
One operation. Three ways to run it.
The strategy doesn't change. What changes is whose hands do the work.
We staff it
We source, train, and manage the people who run your operation day to day. You get the output without building a department.
We train yours
We document every repeatable task, train your team on it, and hand you an operation that runs without you in the room.
We do both
We run it while your team learns it, then step back on your timeline. Most brands in transition land here.
What we handle
Anything on the operational back end. If it touches product, process, or people, it's ours.
Fractional COO
We own the operation. Priorities, systems, vendors, accountability — the thinking you don't have time to do while you're running the business.
SOPs and team training
Every repeatable task written down, tested with your people, and trained in. The work survives a vacation, a resignation, or a bad week.
Inventory and WMS
Selection, setup, and implementation of the right warehouse management system — plus SKU structure, cycle counts, and reorder points that hold up.
Order fulfillment
We still run fulfillment. Pick, pack, ship, returns — managed by people who know what good looks like because we've done it at scale.
Retail and Walmart setup
Routing guides, labeling, compliance, and PO management. Getting into retail is one problem. Not getting chargebacks is the real one.
Warehouse setup
Layout, slotting, receiving flow, and equipment. Whether it's your first 1,000 square feet or a move into real space.
Vendor and 3PL oversight
We audit your providers, catch errors before your customers do, and hold people to the contract you signed. Your calendar stays yours.
Brand execution
Pop-up shops, new market launches, and sourcing the people who staff them — plus the operational plan that makes them run.
Design and creative run through our partner studio. We'll make the introduction.
How it works
Three moves, in order. No 40-page strategy deck that sits in a folder.
Audit
Time inside your operation. We map what actually happens, where it breaks, and what each break is costing you in time, product, and refunds.
Build
Systems, documents, and workflows built around your business and your team's real habits — not a template we hand to everybody.
Run it with you
We keep it moving, train your people, manage the vendors, and handle whatever the week throws at you.
We start as friends and grow into besties.
There's no package to pick from. We talk through what your business actually needs and build the plan around it — this is just how deep the relationship tends to go.
You need hands and a clear head on one part of the operation.
- Fulfillment and order management
- Project work — audits, warehouse setup, WMS implementation
- Retail and PO support
We're in the business with you every week, not just handling a task.
- Ongoing operational leadership
- SOPs, systems, and team training
- Vendor and 3PL accountability
- You stop being the bottleneck
We function as your operations department. You make product decisions; we handle everything behind them.
- Full fractional COO leadership
- Staffed or trained team, your choice
- Growth, retail expansion, and hiring plans
Fulfillment and project work is quoted on volume and scope. Ongoing operational partnership starts at $3,000 a month. Every engagement gets built around what your business actually needs — that's the first conversation.
We are not your traditional 3PL
A 3PL stores your product and ships your orders. We do that too — but it's the smallest thing we do.
We're the reason your inventory numbers are right, your team knows what to do without asking you, and your vendors get held to their word. Most logistics companies sell you space and labor. We sell you an operation that holds together after we leave the room.
That's the whole difference: hands versus brain. We happen to have both.
Jameka "Meka" Brantley-Shelby
MYBF started as a fulfillment operation. I managed large-scale inventory, built internal systems from scratch, and spent years watching brands hand their operations to providers who had no interest in whether the business underneath survived.
So we moved. Today MYBF works as the operational brain behind product brands — building the systems, holding the vendors accountable, and giving founders back the parts of their week they were never supposed to spend on spreadsheets. We still run fulfillment, which is exactly why the advice is worth something.
